At the age of 21, Alex Herriot became a full time professional musician and was a key factor in the formation of the swing jump blues quintet known as The Rockin' Highliners. During Alex's career he has opened for and played with many highly respected artists such as Blue Rodeo, Gord Downie, 54/40, Brian Adams, Duke Robillard, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Big Sugar, Wide Mouth Mason and Jan Arden to name a few.

Alex's newest endeavor is the reunion and comeback of the award winning band The Rockin' Highliners. Under his direction the band is booking shows, writing new songs and preparing for a new album. In between time and in the meantime Alex is writing and recording original material and offering his expertise in guitar lessons, stage presence, band performance and musical guidance for up and coming artists.
